A Little Roadtrip + Bangalow Is The Best

Last week we spend our time in the car cruising up the coast of New South Wales, following the sun.
I had been booked to work on a wedding in Byron Bay and since we have both never been but always wanted to go, we turned the opportunity into a road trip.
Little Dalston had the best time, I think it was his favourite holiday to date.
Possibly because of the mild weather.

On the way we stayed at overnight in Nambucca Heads, a small coastal town that was super cute and had some beautiful beaches for nice walks.
We found a yummy little cafe there for lunch. The Wharf Street Cafe was so good actually, that we stopped there again on our way back home. In Sydney we don't have a backyard or outdoor area at our apartment, so we use every opportunity we can for a BBQ. Luckily our little garden flat, that we booked for the night was well equipped, so we just stayed in and ate BBQ mushrooms and veggie sausages getting some rest for the second part of the trip.

Back on the road toward Byron we stopped in Bangalow! Now I want to live there ;) It's the cutest town I have ever seen. Everyone was so friendly, the food was out of this world and as if that wasn't enough, there were so many amazing little boutiques and shops, we could have easily spend the whole day there. (or the rest of my life)

Our favourite cafe was WOODS , if you are ever in the area don't miss out on this one!
They have all sorts of healthy, tasty food, made with a lot of love. Dalston was welcome everywhere and got so much attention and cuddles from strangers, I think he wants to move there too.

Dave couldn't stop taking photos. He is a little in love with our new camera.
We were blessed with the very best sunny and mild weather for our trip too.
Little breaks are SO worth it.
