Edible Beauty Is Pure Luxury & Bliss
/Edible Beauty just got it all right: The sleek, stylish & luxurious packaging, pure ingredients, heavenly textures and formulas that really perform.
It's an Australian Skincare range developed by Naturopath and Nutritionist Anna Mitsios.
With this background, she knows a thing or two about the power of herbs and botanical extracts.
I am not surprised how well all her formulations work. I have been using her herbal teas before and now tried the skincare range.
I have been using this line for a little while now, as I am not a fan of posting reviews after just a quick sniff or one-time application, I feel good skincare likes this deserves to be tried out a little more long term.
I will definitely repurchase these beautiful products. My skin has been very confused lately due to Sydney Winter weather but this range calmed, healed and purified my skin very well.
To keep up with a good skincare routine is SO easy with this range:
All the products have numbers so it's crystal clear in which order they are meant to be used.
I used all four core products:
No. 1 Belle Frais Cleanser is a gentle coconut oil based cleanser that removes makeup and impurities. I remove this with a warm washcloth to ensure I get all the makeup and residue.
No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique is a citrus based toner containing antioxidants fruits and herbs.
No. 3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum is possibly my favourite, as I haven't been able to find such a light textured plumping serum in a natural product before. It plumps the skin with Hyaluronic Acid and Beta Glucan. I like how it feels on the skin and instantly decreases fine lines with a hydration boost.
No. 4 Vanilla Silk Hydrating Lotion is a delicious smelling and feeling lightweight moisturiser.
It feels very hydrating and calming on the skin.
& Add On's
Besides the general cleanse, tone, serum & moisturiser routine there are also special treatment products which can be included into your routine.
I have added in the Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil, which really protects my skin from the dry warm heater air inside as well as the cold wind outside. It really does give a glow and makes my skin look healthy again! I also saw that my blemishes healed in record speed whenever I included the oil into my routine. It doesn't feel greasy and absorbs easily into my skin.
(It does not claim to do this specifically , but this was the effect it had on my skin! )
I have never heard of Snowflower Seed Oil before, but according to the founder of Edible Beauty it is named after the white, fluffy flowers of the plant, Snowflower Seed Oil reduces pigmentation, sunspots and enhances brightness and illumination of the skin. It is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It also encourages skin cell renewal.
My skin is a bit of a fan of this one!
More than just good looks
I can't wait to try out more products in this range!
It is a luxury range but for me, it's worth every cent.
(if you are on a budget there are other great products that are clean and natural for less, or you can splurge on a serum & eye cream and use a more affordable cleanser)
Compared to other high-end luxury skincare brands, I find the prices extremely reasonable.
I really enjoy using the products & the routine and love how they feel on my skin.
They also do look amazing in the bathroom. (I can't help it but I am a sucker for pretty packaging!) However, ingredients and performance are always most important to me.
Not only are the ingredients clean and green, they are also of the highest quality and a little more sophisticated than your average green skincare brand with potent active ingredients.
The whole range is Ethical and Cruelty-Free and even vegan!
I know this is a raving review, but I only feature products that meet my high standards here on Liv Life Mag, so you can trust that you always get my honest opinion!
Edible Beauty products are available via the Edible Beauty website or on Nourished Life online as well as in Sephora within Australia.
