add some color part I

sun-collage

Did I just say I am desparate for some sunshine? The latest collection of Dinosaur is inspired by the SUN. All this powerful yellow, orange and red shades combined with gold are instantly getting me into summer mood. Liv loves that the collection is presented on the naked body ; )

(Go,go,go away endless German snowy winter, please, Liv is a summergirl!)

I recently found a lot colorful designs that would match perfectly with a white dress and could be worn again and again. My first "add some color post" is about the Sydney based jewelry/homeware design company Dinosaur. The Team consists of Louise Olsen, Stephen Ormandy and Liane Rossler. They have managed to intersect the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business without pause, and have applied the same creative energy and focused vision to each new opportunity. The Dinosaurs have forged an important place for themselves within Australian design history, not only through their longevity and popularity but also through the distinctively Australian character of their work, with many of the colours and forms they use evoking the casual lifestyle and vibrant natural landscape of Australia. -Brian Parkes Curator, Object Gallery They also care about the environment in different ways, so you can be sure you'll support sustainable designs.

Blackboard paint is so much fun... you can write each other messages , write down notes, wishlists, shoppinglist, or just draw little sketches.

Liv feels a bit crafty right now.I am really in the mood to create a new home. I still want this stairs. And a golden bathroom. Don't ask me why. At the same time I know that I will be moving several more times, so all this ideas are for : one day...

weddings and trees part II

forestmoodboard-kopiestill inspired by the wonderful tree photograph I put together a forest inspired (wedding-) mood board. (yeah I know this is not art! ) You know already that Liv and Lav are living in a imaginery treehouse far up in the Positivity Tree? And we are close to finally living together in London!

But back to the topic: Treeeeees. And forest wedding- and home inspiration. I am sure this bed (via anthropologie) with bedding (via can't remember) like above could give you the full treehouse feeling, even in the city. We had forest jewelry already here and I recently saw a few great pieces for men and women here at DEANNA COCHRAN Dresses theLELALAMBone and theLALAone would be great for a forest wedding. the glasshouse

I met Lital Dotan & Eyal Perry a few months ago here in Berlin after an exhibition at a dinner party. Thats when they told me about their amazing project. Their whole house is not only their living space its at the same time an art project, where they are inviting artists from all over the world to live and work with them or alone on a project. They offer it as a residency. Its called Glasshouse because there is almost no room for intimitacy, except for the door to the bathroom, the place is really open. During the opening hours you can find on their website its open to public like a gallery space.

What is most inspiring for Liv is that they just decorated the place with found and old things almost randomly picked together and in the sum of its parts it became a really stylish and beautiful environment. I really want to have a place like this one day! An inspiring place to live and work. Can’t wait to see it for real. Hopefully Ill manage to visit them next year.

P.S: Love the white painted floor it’s like here in my studio!

chi sing

chising1If you are in Berlin and looking for a place to eat and at the same time want to get some great home/interiour/ wedding decoration inspiration: Don't miss Chi Sing! Liv loves this place and just took Lav there the other week. The origami pieces hanging from the ceiling, would be great wedding decoration. The mis-matching chairs: LOVE! Food: Incredible!

Drinks: Even better (if thats possible)

Fresh and healthy dishes, decorated with love and peace. The interior theme is obviously inspired by the challenging Origami technique. Huê is the capital city of Thua Thiên in Vietnam. Between 1802 and 1945, it was the imperial capital of the Nguyên Dynasty. As such, it is well known for its monuments and architecture. The cuisine of Huê draws from throughout Vietnam, but one of the most striking differences is the prominence of vegetarianism in the city.

Alright, now Im really getting hungry!
